Welcome to the Italian Summer Festival 2007 on the beautiful Island of Sardinia! (August 25 - September 1, 2007)

The Italian church invites brethren and friends from all around the world to join them in this year's Summer Festival which will be held on the world renowned island of Sardinia, in the characteristic town of Alghero (http://www.comune.alghero.ss.it/alghero_turismo/turismo_alghero.htm, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alghero, http://www.algheroweb.com ).

Dates are August 25 (arrival day) through September 1, 2007 (departure day). There will be worship services, seminars, prayer meetings, entertainment, youth activities, excursions and lots of free time for visiting and enjoying the beautiful Sardinian beaches or other tourist attractions and to fellowship with the brethren. Simultaneous translations into English will be provided.

Cost per person per day, half board, in a four star Hotel (double occupancy, including breakfast and the evening meal) is 70 Euros (approximately 47 UK pounds, 92 US dollars). We also booked a good number of apartments very close to the beach and with swimming pool starting at 520 Euro (approximately 350 UK pounds, 684 US dollars) for the whole period..

Alghero can be easily reached by plane (http://www.aeroportodialghero.it/home_en.asp) or ferry. Important: in order to get discounted rates (several low cost airlines, including Ryanair, do fly to Alghero) and availability on specific dates, bookings would need to be done right away or at the latest in March, especially if you travel by car and ferry.
